The historic town on Riyadh's north-western edge, first capital of the Saudi state, now being redeveloped.
Diriyah was the original home of the House of Saud and capital of the first Saudi state from 1727 to 1818. Diriyah Company is redeveloping it around the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif district.
